The Baby Bin Boutique is hiring for several Part-Time Retail Sales positions right now!
Tasks and Responsibilities:
•Ensure all customers receive exceptional service by providing a friendly, professional environment
•Assist customers with purchase decisions... and address customer inquiries regarding various products
•Assist in merchandising and display maintenance
•Facilitate cash transactions
Skills and Competencies:
•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•Strong customer-orientation
•Energetic, highly motivated self-starter
•Ability to absorb and retain extensive product information
Job Requirements:
•1+ years retail experience required
•Part time position, flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed
•Experience in and/or knowledge of the industry considered an asset

CONSIGNMENT PROGRAM UPDATE
We continue to accept all of your non clothing goodies, gear & more throughout the month of January on our designated drop off days.
Items in high demand right now include:
-bathing suits and UV protection ( for those taking a warm getaway with their little ones- sizes newborn up to size 10-12)
-shorts and rain gear including boots, jackets, and splash pants
-AMP cloth diapers and accessories
-pack n plays
-bassinetts
-excersaucers

-stonz booties and liners
-padraig slippers
-robeez slippers
-baby carriers

We'd like to take this opportunity to talk about consignment. Sometimes we find our consignors aren't clear on how we work, why we have chosen to run things the way we do, etc.
We know there are many stores out there, and we do our best to be one of the easiest stores to consign with. You can drop off your in season items Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday during normal business hours.
We offer you our Drop and Run program meaning that we do not make you wait while we sort through your goodies. As one of our consignors you will receive 40-60% for each item we sell for you- which accrues in your BBB store bank account.
We will call you when and if there are items we are unable to accept. Please limit your drop offs to two totes per visit. We accept clothing seasonally, and all larger items including baby gear, accessories, furnishings, cloth diapers, etc year round on our designated drop off days.
This allows us to get through drop offs quickly, without creating the huge lineups other stores suffer from, and it allows us to review bigger drop offs with care.
We work hard to get your items out and selling in just a few days - no waiting months to see if your items were accepted or not. And at the end of your consignment period, you're welcome to retrieve any unsold items - many stores no longer allow this.
We are a small shop, but we are one of the most successful per square foot in Winnipeg. Because we have a reputation for having top notch selection, we get far more in than we have room to handle. We have many consignors drive in from out of town including many remote areas such as Brandon, Thompson, and Kenora because they know we'll fetch them top dollar and because they enjoy shopping where they consign.
This means that we are far more selective than many other shops, and we turn away 75% of what is brought in to us. By reviewing our website or Face book page to see what our customers prefer, you can sort your items first and save yourself time lugging in items our particular customers aren't buying.
If we decline your items, please don't take it personally. We are never making our selections based on anything personal - we choose what we think will sell. After all, neither of us make money if we take items that don't sell!
As a consignor, it's in your best interest to tell as many friends, family members and coworkers about our store as possible - the more shoppers we see, especially new ones, the quicker your items will sell, and the more money you'll make! We are very selective when accepting items for consignment, so our racks are stocked with only the best, and our shoppers love it! We stay on top of current pricing, so we’re competitive, and our customers can rely on that. Our store is clean and organized, and our staff members are friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming
